Since the presentation was confirmed I had been researching about the extension and reviewing their promotional videos and I had a very good impression from them. It seems to be simple to configure and manage, has a robust reports section and to top it all, great support*.

Our interview strengthened my first impressions about it and I truly believe Tienda will start a new chapter in e-comm with Joomla! To be honest, I have had enough problems with VirtueMart to last me a life time and the frustration with the bugs in the program were compounded by the lack of support by its team. That was all happening while VM was the King of the Hill in Joomla! e-comm but with a new contender in town VM will need to catch up, improve their product and support it properly if they want to survive. Having competing extensions will be good for both teams as they will always strive to improve their product.
